Collaboration Protocol Signed Between Bursa Uludağ University and TÜYAFED

Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) has signed a cooperation protocol with the TÜYAFED Federation of Software Developers to train qualified personnel in line with industry demands and provide employment support. Led by BUÜ’s Vocational School of Technical Sciences, the protocol aims to foster university-industry collaboration. Through cooperation with the public sector, private sector, industry, and NGOs, the partnership seeks to equip students with new skills and competencies. Additionally, the protocol will provide new practical courses and internship opportunities for students of the Technical Sciences Vocational School. The protocol was signed by BUÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz and TÜYAFED President Mustafa Çalış. Opportunities for New Entrepreneurs Speaking at the signing ceremony, BUÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration. Highlighting the university’s progress in software, IT, and technology, Prof. Dr. Kılavuz noted that their Technology Transfer Office has been actively supporting startups, facilitating over 450,000 TL in TÜBİTAK grants for 31 entrepreneurs. He emphasized that this protocol would also pave the way for new entrepreneurs in the field. Focus on Education and Export TÜYAFED President Mustafa Çalış stated that education and export are priorities for the federation. He highlighted that they launched international projects, “Code Bank” and “Code Stock,” aimed at bringing together university students from across Turkey, particularly from the Eastern and Southeastern regions.
