TÜYAFED President in Batman for IT Festival and Collaboration Agreements
TÜYAFED President Mustafa Çalış and his executive team conducted significant meetings during their visit to Batman. They attended the opening ceremony of the Batman IT Festival, where President Çalış delivered a speech highlighting the region’s IT potential and TÜYAFED’s goals. Following the festival, they also participated in the opening ceremony of Cyber Koza, supporting advancements in technology. Furthermore, discussions were held concerning a cooperation protocol between TÜYAFED and Batman University. During these talks, President Çalış secured an initial commitment from Batman University’s Rector, Mr. İdris Demir, and the university administration for establishing a Software Engineering department, aiming to enhance IT education in the region. The Batman University IT Festival has made history as the largest of its kind in the area. President Çalış expressed his gratitude to Mr. Hafzullah, the event coordinator, and the Batman University family for their hospitality and the honorary plaques presented.
